2026 Bluewater Walk-On Dates

It’s the moment you’ve all been waiting for and asking about! We have selected the dates for our 2026 Bluewater Walk-On Trips. If you are a serious fisherman and bluewater / big game fishing is on your bucket list, then this is the trip for you!

So, what does a typical Bluewater Trip look like? Here is a sample itinerary. Keep in mind that our trips are subject to weather conditions, locations of highly migratory fish species, location of bluewater, etc. Even if those conditions force our captains to alter the sample itinerary, you can rest assured that they will do their best to help your group catch lots of fish.

Day 1:

3:00 pm departure (fall trips after Oct 1 will depart at 2:00 pm)
Catch live bait on the way out using sabiki rigs
Grill dinner on the Big Green Egg
Depending on the distance to bluewater, we may fish for cobia, triggerfish, beeliner, and/or amberjack on the way out. If bluewater is further out, we may not do any fishing on evening 1 besides fishing for live bait.

Day 2:

3:00 or 4:00 am- start tuna fishing the morning bite. This usually includes chunking for yellowfin, using live baits, and jigging for blackfin.
After daylight, we will be trolling, live bait fishing, and kite fishing for tuna, wahoo, dolphin, and blue and white marlin.
Deep drop grouper fishing (sometimes on day 3 instead of day 2 depending on location / conditions)
Evening tuna bite- jigging / chunking around oil platforms
Deep drop swordfishing over night

Day 3:

Grouper fishing / bottom fishing on the way in depending on location / distance to travel
Return to the marina at mid-day (noon – 2pm usually)

$1,080.00 Per Person

Full Payment Due At Time Of Booking

A 60 day notice prior to the trip date is required for a refund.

Escape max 11 passengers.
Lady Ann max 10 passengers.

Price DOES include all licenses, bait, and tackle. fish cleaning, and deckhand gratuity.

Each passenger needs to bring food & drinks, a pillow, sleeping bag, bath towel, and toiletries.

6 Hour Walk On Bottom Fishing

This trip is a nice option for those who want to experience a half day of deep sea fishing,
but don’t have a large enough group or budget for a private charter. We bottom fish our
reefs up to 25 miles offshore for Red Snapper (in season), Vermillion Snapper, and
Triggerfish (in season). Price is per person. We limit our passenger capacity on these trips
in order to give anglers more space. We specialize in a split charter environment rather
than a traditional over-crowded party boat experience in order to offer you a higher quality trip.

$170 per person on credit card, $160 per person if paying cash
Children under 12 and military get a $10 discount

8am-2pm

Holding your reservation with a credit card is STRONGLY recommended.
48 hour cancellation policy

Price DOES include all licenses, bait, and tackle.
Price DOES NOT include deckhand gratuity (20% is customary).

Bring a cooler of food and drinks for your group. No glass bottles please!

Red Snapper Season 2025

Red snapper season for boats with federal fishing permits will be 7 days a week from June 1, 2025 through Sept. 15, 2025.

5 Hour Sheepshead Shared Charter

We have heard from so many of you who want to try the spring sheepshead fishing but do not have a large enough group to warrant a private charter.

New for Spring of 2025, we are now offering our 5 hour inshore trip as a shared charter option. We will fish the inshore oil platforms for sheepshead. This trip is available March 1 – April 15 only. Only 8 fishermen are allowed on board, offering a true “shared charter” environment in comfort aboard the 57′ Lady Ann.

Price is per person. You just pay for yourself and we will find other passengers to go along.
You get an experience normally only available by private charter at a per person price.

$190 per person on credit card, $180 per person if paying cash

7 am-12 noon or 1-6 pm
